Film Synopsis
An intimate story of the Italians in lockdown: from the wonderful empty Italian piazzas, to the front-line heroes in the hospital wards, to the festive windows and balconies, to the home videos. A collective account filtered through the direction and the vision of a great artist who brings us an actual documentary film that saves for future memory a complete and authentic photograph of Italy today.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT We follow the chronological and emotional order of events, starting when Italy saw China and the virus as a distant problem, through the gradual awareness of the emergency, all the way to the beginning of phase two. Beyond the technical aspects, what I wish to highlight is the sincerity of these stories, is that they are true, they come from the heart. There is another theme that I am particularly attached to and which will emerge in the story: the rebirth of nature.
