19 October 17:30
Festa del cinema
Synopsis
Rome is the city of movies and movie theatres. These places, scattered throughout the neighbourhoods in the city, are filled with stories. But many of them are in disrepair, they change their name, their function, or disappear without a trace. Some of them are renovated to become supermarkets or garages; others are squatted or transformed into arthouse theatres. Buio in sala maps these theatres and through them tells the story of the city.
COMMENTARY
