to Gregory Peck, on October 19 at 6 pm the Casa
del Cinema will be holding a screening of a 1985
documentary about the American actor, directed by
Barbara Kopple and produced by Peck’s daughter Cecilia
Peck Voll, who will be on hand for the occasion with
her brother Anthony Peck. In this film Gregory Peck,
considered a “symbol of American values” and decorated
by President Clinton for his contribution to the arts,
talks frankly and freely about his public and private life.
It’s the portrait of a decent man equally devoted to films,
his wife and his family, treating viewers to anecdotes
and little-known facts about his career and personal life,
while also talking about his support of the Democratic
Party and the tragic death of one of his children.
