Synopsis

A journey into the Roman night during which Roberto D’Agostino explains to his friend Marco Giusti, as filmed by Daniele Ciprì, why Rome is a city, just as the electric chair is a chair. A unique, infernal city, capable of anything.
Dago & Giusti venture out as night falls, since after dark, the commotion of the world is more audible.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
Roma, santa e dannata is a journey into the Roman night, in which Roberto D’Agostino tries to explain to Marco Giusti, as filmed by Daniele Ciprì, why God had invented a city with the devil next door. At nightfall, Dago & Giusti sail down the Tiber, stroll down alleys and past ruins, meet characters and even ghosts, since night is when secrets must be told, misdeeds or foul deeds, and all with the sardonic humor of hardened cynics.
